Alex Bryson Trio
A fluent and impressive pianist, Alex Bryson includes work with the likes of US stars Grant Stewart & Chris Cheek on an impressive cv. After attending college in London he moved to the US, ending up working at many prestigious venues in both NYC and Washington, including the likes of Arturo’s, Cleopatra’s Needle and The Cotton Club. Now back in London he has made a real impression on the scene and his much anticipated debut album “The Alexander Bryson Trio” has recently been released to considerable acclaim. He describes the repertoire the trio will perform this evening as “an eclectic mix of tunes spanning French Chanson, Bebop, Afro-Cuban folk songs, and The Blues”, so if you like your jazz melodic, swinging and straight ahead then this is definitely the gig for you!
