Arthur Lea's Bootleg Trio
Best known here at the Club as the keyboardist/singer with the ever-popular Coalminers, Arthur Lea combines eclectic rhythm and blues with southern soul. Lewisham schooled, Royal Academy of Music trained, he has played everywhere from Ronnie Scott’s to the Olympic Stadium, working with everyone from Kate Tempest to Kylie Minogue. He performs solo, with his band Bootleg Brass, and many others: The Coalminers, Paragon, Tongue Fu, to name a few. He has recorded in studios from Nashville to Berlin, and produced several albums of original music. The trio also features Chris Barrett-tuba & fellow Coalminer Pat Levett-drums/harmonica. Sadly for us, this will be Arthur's last performance at not just the 606, but in London for some time as he is moving to the US, so come on down for what promises to be a lively farewell!
