Jazz Harpist Alina Bzhezhinska stormed the UK music scene when she and her quartet appeared at the Barbican during the EFG London Jazz Festival, receiving a nomination for Best Live Experience of the Year at the 2018 Jazz FM Awards. Her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Inspiration’ (Ubuntu Music) further affirmed her growing reputation, and she has since performed at major venues and festivals around the World. Tonight Alina, a native Ukrainian from Lviv, will be bringing her HipHarp Collective to the Club to present a special concert to express support and raise funds for Ukrainians both at home and now abroad. As well as the HipHarp Collective itself: Chris Jerome-piano, Julie Walkington-bass, Adam Teixeira-drums, & Joel Prime-percussion the gig will also feature Alina’s Special Guest, Scottish vocalist Niki King. Niki's various awards include the UK Perrier Jazz Vocalist Award, The Scottish Style Award and The Spirit Of Scotland Music Medal. This promises to be a very special night so come down, hear some remarkable music and help support a very worthy cause…all at the same time.
