Bobby Quigley's Organ Trio
This fantastic "Groove" gig features the band of guitarist Bobby Quigley, a formidable young musician who includes work with the likes of Pete Ray Biggin, Imaani and Katie Leone on an impressive cv. Citing influences including Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein, John Scofield and Dr Lonnie Smith, tonight he is bringing in his Trio featuring Pete Whittaker-organ & Pete Adam Hill-drums to perform what he describes as “a voyage of reimagination of jazz & soul, with a hint of New Orleans thrown in there for good measure”. For a special treat, Bobby's also asked vocalist Sumudu (Stacey Brothers Royal Scammers, Van Morrison) to sit in for a few numbers as well!
