Carolina Lelis
Brazilian singer/songwriter Carolina Lelis is best known at the 606 as the charismatic vocalist with the Club “house” Latin band Samara. Tonight, however, this highly talented singer/songwriter will be bringing her own project to the Club. Citing her influences as Jazz, R&B and Brazilian she says “growing up between the USA and Brazil the mix of cultural influences can be clearly heard in my music”. Singing primarily in English but also with some Portuguese the programme will be a mix of original material from her 2016 album “Live” along with some classic Jazz & Brazilian standards.
