‘Citrus Sun’ is a side project led by Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick, also the bandleader/guitarist and founder of iconic acid-jazz band Incognito. A project born of Bluey’s love of soulful Jazz Funk instrumentals and the guitar playing of UK guitar legend Jim Mullen, Citrus Sun also features key members of Incognito’s line-up. For this 606 gig the band includes Francis Hylton-bass, Francesco Mendolia-drums, Joao Caetano-percussion, Graham Harvey-keyboards, Dominic Glover-trumpet and Valerie Etienne-vocals.
