Georgia Mancio ft Nigel Price
““Supremely elegant …one of the hottest singers on the circuit.””
Evening Standard
Georgia Mancio is an award-winning vocalist, lyricist and producer with a beautiful vocal tone and direct style that lends itself perfectly to her swinging and sophisticated set. With two back-to-back Parliamentary Jazz Awards including 'Best Album' for “Finding Home” with pianist/composer Kate Williams in 2020, and “Best Vocalist” in 2021, she's also received several Jazz FM, British Jazz and Urban Music Award nominations. Her revered partnership with Grammy-winning pianist/composer, Alan Broadbent has yielded over 40 co-written works (many published in their book, ’The Songs of Alan Broadbent and Georgia Mancio’); three albums (‘Quiet Is The Star’, ‘Songbook’ and the forthcoming ‘A Story Left Untold’); as well as performances across Europe and the US, including Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC). Georgia has also worked with many other artists of global stature such as Bobby McFerrin, Sheila Jordan, Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll, Jason Rebello, Gwilym Simcock and the late, great, Bobby Wellins. Tonight, Georgia will be revisiting her long standing collaboration with one of the UK's most accomplished and tasteful guitar players, Nigel Price, with songs from their acclaimed 2013 album, 'Come Rain Or Come Shine'. The rest of the quartet features Julie Walkington-bass and Dave Ohm-drums.
