Probably best known for her work with the iconic group “Swing Out Sister”, Gina Foster is a truly gifted and impressive singer. Renowned as one of the most soulful session vocalists around she has worked prolifically in jazz, R&B, groove, pop and dance music with the likes of Eric Clapton and Sinead O’Connor. On Friday the 9th of July Gina will be performing a repertoire of classic soul & groove associated with female singers and writers, along the theme of 'Women in Soul'. From Randy Crawford, Sade, Anita Baker & Dionne Warwick to Gina's own excellent originals, this promises to be a celebration of great female soul artists and Gina has put together a fantastic band to do justice to these wonderful songs: Carl Hudson-keys, Tim Cansfield-guitar, Steve Pearce-bass & Geoff Dunn-drums.
