Hannah Horton
A sophisticated and accomplished saxophonist, Hannah Horton includes work with the likes of Amy Winehouse, John Etheridge, Tina May, Georgia Mancio, Polly Gibbons and Natalie Williams on an impressive cv. The list of premier venues at which she's performed include Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Dean St, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican. Hannah's album, 'Inside Out' (which was launched at the Club) received overwhelmingly positive reviews, leading to a second Parliamentary Jazz Award nomination for 'Best Newcomer'. An imaginative saxophonist and composer, her music is rooted in jazz, folk and funk. Along with her excellent Trio (Sam Leak-piano, Rob Statham-bass and Steve Taylor-drums) Hannah will share with you original compositions from her previous recordings including ‘Horn Dance’, ‘Keep Walking’ and ‘Feed The Birds’, new unreleased tracks and iconic songs she holds close to her heart.
