Jonny Liebeck
Mixing 20th century influenced jazz & fusion with electronic dance music, keyboardist & bandleader Jonny Liebeck has crafted a sound that captures the zeitgeist of this moment. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music & Trinity Laban, he’s had gigs all over London, performing at London venues including the Southbank Centre (Purcell Room), Royal Albert Hall, Pizza Express, Toulouse Lautrec, Rich Mix, 91 Living Room & many more, as well as playing alongside Cuban Jazz legend Omar Puente & Soul legend Mica Paris. With several recordings to his name already, Jonny has just released his new EP “Influences” featuring new compositions performed by his Quintet which you’ll be hearing at this show tonight. Joining Jonny on the stand are four outstanding musicians who among them, have played with Questlove, Mark Ronson, Jamie Cullum, Grace Jones & more and are acclaimed in their own right: Donovan Haffner-sax, Tom Mason-bass, Owen Snider-guitar & Andrew McLean-drums.
