An impressive singer-songwriter and pianist, Athens-born Lara Eidi returns to London to perform at the 606 for the very first time as part of her UK Spring Tour. With an eclectic repertoire, including standards and re-imagined folk classics from artists including Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Vince Mendoza and Lianne La Havas, the evening will celebrate the art of song. In addition Lara & her Trio- featuring long-time collaborators, bassist Dave Manington (Yazz Ahmed) and pianist Naadia Sheriff (ISQ)-will debut original work from her upcoming album ‘Turn to the Wind’ to be released in October 2022. Lara’s mix of jazz and folk has been heard at prestige venues including the Barbican, St Martins in the Fields, Sofar Sounds and the Pizza Express and she is truly an artist worthy of special attention.
