Nadim Teimoori is a formidable talent on the contemporary jazz scene, renowned for his virtuosic saxophone playing and thoughtful, inventive compositions. Graduating from the Royal Academy Of Music he won the prestigious Humphrey Lyttelton Award and since then, has been a regular presence on the UK jazz circuit, performing both as a bandleader and sideman with distinguished groups such as the Ronnie Scott’s Big Band, Gareth Lockrane Big Band, and the Stan Tracey Group, among others. Nadim’s new ensemble, ‘Hidden Words’ takes its name from The Hidden Words, a cherished work of the Bahá’í Faith. The outstanding lineup features top UK players Sam Dunn-guitar, Will Barry-piano, Calum Gourlay-bass and David Ingamells-drums. Tonight’s programme promises an electrifying blend of original compositions and timeless jazz classics, showcasing a wide spectrum of musical influences.
