Composer, pianist and educator Roland Perrin has appeared with a diverse array of leading jazz and World music artists. A fluent and impressive player his many compositions include the full-length opera for choir and jazz band "Lansky" and the 300 strong choral, jazz/Brazilian tour de force "Rio Amazonas", which had its Barbican premiere in 2018. Tonight he brings his latest band AfroJula to the Club featuring musicians from Nigeria, Venezuela, Spain, Finland and the US to, as he puts it “share their influences and unite through jazz. Featuring the 'African George Benson’ Ebenezer Oke expect a heady and soulful mix of Afro-beat, Latin Jazz and Klezmer”. Now that you can’t miss.
