Ryan Quigley Quintet

An award-winning musician, composer, arranger and educator Glasgow-raised Ryan Quigley is widely considered to be one of Europe’s finest trumpet players. Over the last 20+ years his powerful yet graceful and melodic playing has been heard with the likes of Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, Robbie Williams and Sir Tom Jones, while the two albums he released under his own name have been received with universal acclaim. He toured his 2016 release “What Doesn’t Kill You” with renowned US pianist Geoff Keezer and tonight brings his wonderful (and very Scottish!) quintet to the Club featuring the multi-award-winning Helena Kay-sax and the brilliant Steve Hamilton (Billy Cobham)-piano.
